About Rupix

Last updated: 20 October 2026

India's market numbers, in one place. Rupix collects the figures an Indian investor looks up every day, from IPO price bands and grey market premiums to the gold rate in their city and the NAV of their mutual fund, and presents them on one site and one Android app, free, with no account to create.

What Rupix covers

The site is organised into sections that each answer one kind of question. Every record in each section has its own page, with its own address, so a search for a specific fund, issue or city lands on a page about exactly that.

  • IPOs. Every mainboard and SME issue from announcement to a month after listing, with price band, lot size, issue size, subscription by investor category, the expected listing premium, the registrar, lead managers and the full timeline. The IPO board.
  • Share buybacks. Tender offers with record date, buyback price, entitlement ratio and what a small shareholder can tender. Buybacks.
  • Commodity futures. Live MCX and NSE contracts for gold, silver, crude oil, natural gas, copper, aluminium, zinc, nickel and electricity, with volume, open interest and contract specifications. Commodities.
  • Bullion. Retail gold, silver and platinum rates per gram in more than 130 Indian cities. Gold rate, silver rate, platinum rate.
  • Fuel. Petrol and diesel pump prices in more than 500 cities, with daily history and the trend on each page. Petrol price, diesel price.
  • Mutual funds. More than 1,700 direct plans with NAV history since launch, returns to ten years, holdings, portfolio split and scheme details. Mutual funds.

Where the numbers come from

Rupix does not generate prices. It collects figures that are published publicly by exchanges, fund houses, oil marketing companies, bullion associations and issue registrars, stores them, and republishes them in one consistent format.

A figure can still be late or wrong: a source can publish an error, or a price can move after it was recorded. Before acting on a number, check it against the exchange, the issuer's own filing, the fund house or the pump. If you find a mistake, tell us and we will look at it.

What Rupix is not

Rupix is an information site. It is not a broker, a distributor, an exchange or an investment adviser, and it is not registered with SEBI in any capacity. You cannot buy or sell anything here, and nothing on the site is a recommendation. The grey market premium shown on IPO pages is an unofficial, unregulated quote that we publish as a reading of sentiment, not as a prediction of the listing price. The full disclaimer and terms say this at greater length.

How the words on the site are written

The explanations on the section pages, the city pages and the fund pages are written by us. Where a page's text is generated from its own figures, for example the paragraph on a fund page that states its category, size, cost and track record, every sentence is produced from a fact in that page's data and nothing is added that the data does not support. We do not reproduce another site's articles, and we do not publish figures in prose that would be stale by the next day; those live in the tables and charts.

The blog at therupix.in/blog/ carries longer guides written by the Rupix team, each with its date. Corrections to our own copy are made within a working day of being reported and noted on the page.

Advertising

Rupix shows advertisements served by Google AdSense on the website and AdMob in the app. Advertisers have no say in what the site publishes or how figures are presented, and an advertisement is not an endorsement.

Free, with no account

Rupix is free to use and asks for no registration, on the website or in the app. It is supported by advertising. The Android app adds alerts when an issue opens or closes, allotment checking by PAN, and a lot-size calculator.
