Axis CRISIL IBX 50:50 Gilt Plus SDL September 2027 Index Fund is a target maturity debt fund from Axis Mutual Fund. This page covers the direct plan, growth option, the version with no distributor commission inside its expense ratio. It is an index fund: it tracks a published index rather than picking stocks, so its return should match the index less its expense ratio and tracking error.
It manages ₹36 crore of investors' money and charges an expense ratio of 0.15 percent a year, deducted before the NAV is struck. Its direct plan has returned 5.15 percent over one year and 7.39 percent a year over three years; figures beyond a year are annualised, and past returns say nothing certain about future ones. The scheme is managed by Aditya Pagaria. The riskometer places it at moderate risk.
Mutual fund gains are capital gains, taxed when you redeem, and the rate depends on what the scheme holds and how long you held the units. The rules below are those in force after the Finance Act of 2024 for redemptions from 23 July 2024, with the changes of April 2025 for gold, silver and international funds. Rupix is not a tax adviser; confirm the treatment for your own case.
Debt schemes, those keeping more than sixty-five percent in bonds and money market instruments, are taxed at your income tax slab rate on the whole gain whenever you redeem units bought on or after 1 April 2023, however long you held them. Units bought before that date and held for more than twenty-four months are long-term, taxed at twelve and a half percent without indexation.
Income distributed by the scheme under the IDCW option is added to your income and taxed at your slab rate, with tax deducted at source at ten percent once payouts exceed ten thousand rupees in a year, from 1 April 2025.
Reading the numbers, how to invest in a direct plan, and the terms used on this page
It is a target maturity fund. A fund in this category holds bonds that mature around a fixed date and winds up then, so an investor who stays to the end knows roughly what yield to expect.
The direct plan charges 0.15 percent a year. The charge is taken out of the scheme's assets every day before the NAV is calculated, so every return figure shown is already net of it.
The scheme manages ₹36 crore across all its plans. Size is updated monthly by the fund house.
You can start with a SIP of ₹1,000 a month or a one-time investment of ₹5,000. The fund house may accept smaller top-ups once you hold units. Rupix does not take investments; buy direct from the fund house or through a platform that offers direct plans.
No. There is no charge for redeeming units, whenever you redeem them.
The scheme is managed by Aditya Pagaria, as disclosed by the fund house. Managers change from time to time; the fund house's factsheet carries the current name.
The fund house's riskometer rates it moderate. The riskometer is a SEBI-mandated label based on what the scheme holds; it describes how much the value can swing, not whether the fund will make money.
From the NAV every fund house reports to the Association of Mutual Funds in India after the market closes. The NAV history chart goes back to the scheme's launch. The headline figure is the most recent close Rupix has recorded.
